Welcome to the Insanity

As I sit here trying to write (which doesn’t come easily to me, if I’m being honest), I can hear one dog snoring, another one is scratching annoyingly  impatiently at my closed bedroom door, and it sounds like at least 3 are playing tag in the backyard, complete with ecstatic, chaotic, (probably) neighbor-irritating barks.

I want to start with a disclaimer: I am not a writer. If you’re looking for a how-to blog or some organized thing, this is not the blog for you. I mean, the website is “borderline insanity.” People keep telling me I should write about all the crazy shenanigans my dogs get into, and I want these stories to have a home, so here we are: Borderline Insanity, the Blog. (In my head, there was a little fanfare as I wrote that.)

That said, there are eight border collies here. E-i-g-h-t. Four of them were intentional, the other four…not so much. But I love every single one of them. If you’re wondering how I got myself into this mess, well, that’s something I ask myself every day, but also, what this blog is all about.

So, I’m going to start…somewhere, and hopefully it will all make sense. I promise we’ll get to the shenanigans soon.
